  • Human trafficking

  • Forced or compulsory labour, including threats or coercion

  • Ownership or control of individuals through abuse or exploitation

  • Dehumanisation, treating individuals as commodities or property

  • Physical confinement or restriction of personal freedom

D) Commitment

Chartway Partnerships Group recognises its responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and is fully committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business and supply chains.

We continually review and strengthen our internal policies and supplier management processes to ensure compliance.

We do not conduct business with any organisation—within or outside the UK—that knowingly engages in, supports, or condones slavery, servitude, or forced labour.

All labour used in delivering Chartway Partnerships Group services is lawfully sourced, and we adhere to all relevant UK employment legislation. We also ensure that every employee has the legal right to work in the UK, including verifying and retaining appropriate immigration documentation.

E) Supply Chains

Chartway Partnerships Group maintains a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery. This stance is communicated to all suppliers, contractors, and business partners at the outset of our relationship and reinforced throughout ongoing engagements.

F) Potential Exposure

While Chartway Partnerships Group considers the overall risk of modern slavery within its operations and supply chain to be low, we remain vigilant and proactive in ensuring such practices do not occur within our organisation or those with whom we conduct business.

G) Steps Taken

To ensure compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, Chartway Partnerships Group undertakes the following actions:

  • Conducts due diligence on suppliers and partners to assess and mitigate risks related to slavery and human trafficking.

  • Requires all individuals working within the Group to read, understand, and comply with this policy.

  • Encourages any employee or stakeholder with concerns regarding possible instances of modern slavery to report them immediately to the Group Head of People or, in their absence, a Group Director.

  • Will terminate any business relationship with individuals or organisations that fail to comply with this policy.

  • Verifies all employees’ right to work in the UK and securely retains documentation as evidence of compliance.

To our knowledge, Chartway Partnerships Group has not engaged in business with any organisation involved in modern slavery or human trafficking.

H) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

To measure the effectiveness of our anti-slavery efforts, Chartway Partnerships Group monitors the following KPIs:

  1. Communication of our zero-tolerance policy to all suppliers, contractors, and partners at the beginning of our business relationship and when relevant thereafter.
